AWARDS OF 2011 STORIES AND POETRY AND SOCIAL WORK 2011

Entrega de los Premios 2011Progressive Women's Association "Victoria Kent" today presented the prizes of XVII Competition Short Stories and Poetry Contest XIII, convened on the occasion of International Women's Day, and the Award for Social Work 2011, this year has gone to the Fibromyalgia Association and has received its president, María Granados Fernández.

Home Start the journey of "A Neighborhood for All of Us" in Cortijo de Vides

The square of the Cortijo de Vides neighborhood was the scene of the Friday launch of the program of recreational activities, "Live your own neighborhood", framed in the project "A Neighborhood for All of Us".

The Association of Progressive Women "Victoria Kent", the District Coordinating "Alternatives", the Coordinator "Barrio Vivo" of Algeciras, the Foundation "Margins and Links", "Algeciras Welcomes" and the city of Algeciras participate in "A Neighborhood for All of Us", funded by the Ministry of Labour and Immigration and the European Social Fund.

The main objective of the initiative, whose area of action is part of the townships of La Bajadilla, La Piñera, Fishers, Engineer Torroja and Pastors, is the integration and promotion of participation and coexistence among all cultures.
